At Orb Rope Access, we’re keen to support our local community and give back wherever we can. We undertake various charity projects, and regularly work with in partnership with local people and organisations.
Shevington Under 13s are a local grassroots football team which is part of Shevington FC, an FA Charter Marked Football Club. The team play in the Premier League of the Warrington Junior Football League.
Orb Rope Access are honoured to have been the sponsor for this team from the beginning of their grassroots journey in the under 7’s team. The kits provide the children with team pride and belonging.
We have been proud to see the team grow, not only in football skills, but in resilience, teamwork and passion over the past few years of our sponsorship.
We wish Shevington Under 13s the best of luck this season!
We are also working hard to reduce our carbon footprint with the goal of becoming carbon neutral. Check back for updates on this as we continue in our discussions with local environmental charities and organisations to determine how we can best make a difference.
Orb Rope Access is proud to have signed the Armed Forces Covenant. The covenant pledges that those who serve, or have served, in the armed forces, and their families, are treated with fairness and respect as they go about their everyday lives in their local communities and in wider society.
The military is close to the heart of Matt and Julie, Directors of Orb Rope Access, with Matt having served as a Royal Marine for ten years.
As a company, and as individuals, we want to help the armed forces community to gain access to the same government and commercial services as non-military citizens. These include education, family wellbeing, having a home, access to a career, access to healthcare, discounted services and financial assistance.
Julie Lavery regularly gives her time to local organisations as a school Governor and an advisory board member for family businesses. In a voluntary Enterprise Advisor role for a Lancashire school, Julie works with the senior leadership team to help facilitate work opportunities for pupils with local employers.
